Visa information for China

Step 1:
Please sign medical check form and contract, and send it back to Teach Travel Asia.

Step 2:
We will need you to send us scanned copies of your diploma / degree, CV, TEFL certificate (if any), passport (Info and back page only), passport type photo and full home address (including telephone number).

Step 3:
You must mail these forms directly to Teach Travel Asia. With these documents, a school can obtain a letter of invitation. This procedure takes 7-10 days.

Step 4:
Once we have sent you the letter of invitation, you must take the letter to the Chinese embassy and apply for your Z visa. Unfortunately, Teach Travel Asia is unable to do this on your behalf. Please read information below, for details on how to apply for the Chinese Z visa. In accordance with the “Law of the People’s Republic of China on Entry and Exit of Aliens” and other relevant regulations, the aliens who apply for Chinese visas are required to fulfill the following procedures:

• Basic requirements:
  
  • One completed visa application form with one photo (passport photo) attached.
  • A passport valid for more than six months with blank visa page.
  • 3 months bank statements and original air-flight tickets or itinerary.
• A brief introduction to Chinese visas

An invitation letter or fax from the department of the Chinese Government, together with an employment certificate issued by the relevant department or certificate of foreign expert. If you are going to work more than 6 months, a “Physical Examination Record for Foreigner” filled out and signed by a doctor shall be submitted.

Payment
Visa fees should be paid on collection of your visa. The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China accepts cash payment only.
